COMMUNITY EVENT AT CRAIGIE OFFICIAL OPENINGCongratulations to our speed team, Frank van Rooyen, Grant Fawcett, Stephan Schaffner and Eric Watson who blitzed the field at the community event held at the official opening of the Craigie Outdoor Pool. The 4x100m swim part was a breeze, the pressure came during the novelty section where each swimmer had to put on a cap, rash vest and jump in with a pool noodle. The four swimmers than had to move as a team towards the finish line. Our guys showed amazing team work and proceeded forward in almost perfect unison! Well done Team! We can all look forward to our first training session in this pool on Saturday 13. |

Safety ConcernsWhen lanes are crowded and swimmers are taking a rest, please wait in the left hand corner to allow other swimmers to turn safely on the centre line or to the right of the lane.
Please refrain from wearing watches or heavy jewellery while training in the lanes. |

2010 Membership InformationAs at the AGM on 28 January, we had 74 paid up members. Fees for 2010 are $100 and should be paid as soon as possible. Membership renewal is available online now. Medical/Emergency Contact FileA confidential file containing all members medical conditions and emergency contact numbers will be left with the pool management at both Arena and Craigie. This is to ensure that coaches and staff members are able to access these details in case of an emergency. |
